When you visit our website

We automatically collect certain information about you, your internet connection, and your browser and device, when you visit our website. This information includes:

• Your IP address. Our webserver uses this information to provide an HTTP response to your HTTP request. It is also recorded in webserver log files.
• Browser User-Agent strings. Our webserver uses this information to customize how pages are presented. It is also recorded in webserver log files.
• Cookies. We use necessary cookies only. We do NOT use tracking cookies.

We do NOT use any third-party analytics, advertising, nor remarketing, on our website.

When we provide professional services

We collect various information about you, your spouse, your dependents, your business, and other individuals (e.g., employees as part of providing business services) in order to provide services to you. This information may include:

• Contact Information (e.g., name, phone number, and email address)
• Demographic Information, including Dates of Birth, Marital Status, Dependents, etc.
• Social Security Numbers and other government identification numbers (e.g., EIN and ITIN)
• Financial Information (e.g., checking, debit and credit account numbers, income, revenue, assets, credits, deductions, and expenses)
• Payroll Information.

If we are providing web design and/or email marketing services, we collect the information that you want published on your website and/or in your emails. Specific to email marketing services, we also collect subscriber/recipient information, in order to send your content to your subscribers, and information about your own privacy and data collection practices, in order to help ensure excellent deliverability, and in order to avoid inadvertently assisting, or providing service to, spammers.

How information may be used and shared or disclosed

We may use, and if necessary, disclose, your information for our ordinary business purposes including providing services to you, preventing fraud, responding to court orders and legal investigations, and complying with legal requirements. This may also include assigning you a unique identifier or disclosures to the IRS. We may disclose your information to service providers who perform business functions on our behalf (including service providers who perform auxiliary services in connection with tax return preparation, as permitted by IRC Section 7216.)

• We do NOT share your information with others, whether affiliates or non-affiliates, for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
• We do NOT share your information with others, whether affiliates or non-affiliates, for their own ordinary business purposes, until and unless you explicitly give us permission to do so.
• We do NOT share information about your creditworthiness with others, whether affiliates or non-affiliates.
• We do NOT use nor share your information for our own marketing or advertising purposes, until and unless you explicitly give us permission to do so.

We require all service providers (including marketing service providers) to have written contracts with us that require them to safeguard your information and prohibit them from selling, retaining, using or disclosing your information for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of fulfilling the contract.

Choice and Opt-Out

Email

You may choose to receive email newsletters and updates from us. By default, we all assume that you do NOT want such communications. We use confirmed opt-in, also known as double-opt-in, or closed loop confirmed opt in, for all bulk or marketing email. You may opt out of receiving email newsletters and updates, by following the unsubscribe instructions on the bottom of the email, or by writing to us. "Cold email" is just a fancy term for spam. Therefore, we do NOT send to purchased/rented/appended/etc lists, and we do NOT make our own subscriber list available for sale/rental.

SMS & MMS

You may choose to receive automated text messaging (SMS and/or MMS) from us. We do not charge for this, but your wireless carrier might. By default, we will assume that you do NOT wish to receive texts. You may opt in by checking the option on our paper or electronic intake forms, or by telling us verbally or in writing that you want texts. Reply STOP to opt out. You may also opt out by writing to us.

You may choose to receive one off text replies from our staff to your questions, by texting us a question. A response is NOT guaranteed, and consent for ongoing messaging will NOT be assumed.
